6 beautiful design villas to inspire your vacation

Summer is in full swing, and we can’t resist but scroll our Instagram feed for travel inspiration, searching for our next destination. From Noto to Bali, we’ve selected six incredible vacation villas that marry nature’s beautiful surroundings with top-notch design.

1. Casa Vera in Noto, Sicily

For modern design lovers. The interior was imagined by a Maltese designer Gordon Guillaumier and features a lot of concrete mixed with subtle insets of marble, steel, and oak.

2. Casa Aviv in Tulum, Mexico

Designed by CO-LAB, Casa Aviv is a modern oasis in Tulum that’s usually associated with a boho aesthetic. But here things were done differently. There is grey polished cement, terrazzo floors and modern furniture pieces that blend in perfectly with the neutral color palette.

3. Casa Viami in Canggu, Bali  

A minimalist gem in Bali inspired by the architecture of the Mediterranean. Flooded with natural lights, the villa features custom-made furniture crafted by local craftsmen and a picturesque pool.

4. Villa Leticia in Valldemossa, Mallorca

This traditionally Mallorcan Finca-style villa is all about history. Surrounded by century-old trees, the guests can marvel at panoramic views of the island while enjoying a serene atmosphere of Valldemossa hidden in the mountains of Sierra de Tramuntana.

5. Villa Astor in Sorrento, Italy

Overlooking the gulf of Naples, this neoclassical villa is packed with decorative elements from frescoes through ancient statues to Ionic columns and paintings by Jacques Garcia. Since 1905, it belonged to Lord William Waldorf Astor and has been renewed in the 1970s by the new owners who hosted many prominent guests including Princess Margaret, Sofia Loren or Gregory Peck.
